Les Montagnes Wines, is a boutique wine farm, nestled in the unique Roberts Valley just outside Franschhoek, between Glenwood and La Roche wine farms.

Surrounded by pristine flora, and majestic Franschhoek mountains, it is an ideal environment basin to produce premium, terroir-driven wines in a classical style. Our renowned winemaker, D.P Burger, combines his 3 decades of experience at the farm and applying the best Vini and viticultural practices to deliver wines of exceptional character.

Our aim is to provide premium wines at an affordable price.

This farm has been transformed from a weekend farm to a small boutique style wine farm, which caters for a classical but developed palate. We are in the process of approving plans for a farmhouse, in the Cape Vernacular style, that would be rented out to the public.

The history of the farm goes back to 2014, when it was acquired by the late Harry Gardiner with a view to establishing a boutique wine farm that produces quality wines. Unfortunately, due to his ill health, his dream did not materialise, but with the help of our two winemakers, and the vision of our current CEO and Andrew Gardiner, the improvements are bearing fruit.
